reception
Mar 13th 2008
The reception had a garden theme adorned with yellow roses and bluebonnets. The room was lighted with candles on the tables and bluebonnet luminaries around the room.
The wedding party and all our immediate family entered the reception by way of a Grande March led by Charles and Elain Luza.

Our first dance as husband and wife….

We ate our dinner at a sweetheart table… just the two of us.

Father/Daughter and Mother/Son Dances. Halfway thorough each song, we asked fathers and mothers to dance with their youngest daughters and sons. It was so sweet to have them all on the floor with us.

Emcee’s extraordinaire….Roy and Sandra (pictured here with Kelly, their youngest) were just fabulous. They certainly worked the hardest of all of us! We owe them both so very much for sharing their talents with us.

The Bridal Dance (Redovy) is a Czech tradition…

The Generations dance started with all married couples and gradually worked its way down to those that had been married the longest. Here are the bride’s parents and grandparents. We presented each golden years couple with a long stem yellow rose tied with gold ribbons.

The bride’s cake was a spiral of different size round tiers adorned with our flowers.

The groom’s cake was a Texas flag with the shape of the state in place of a star. It had a cowboy (Bryan, TX) throwing a lasso around an eiffel tower (Paris, TX).

The glasses were a gift from our friend Angela, who had them custom made just for our wedding.

The honeymoon location was a secret even to the bride! Here, Emil is announcing that the trip will be Greece.
You can clearly see both shock and excitement.

The getaway!
