Fightin’ Squirrels

Emil has joined some of our MOSS friends (our Friday football picks group) in a local softball league. They are the Fightin’ Squirrels. After two practices, tonight was their first game. In true Fightin’ Squirrels tradition, they lost big (19-2), but had tons of fun.

Emil (on phone with his sister): [Something like] I’m sorry I missed your call, we were sleeping. We had a long night last night, so we went to bed as soon as we got home.
Sandra: [Must have said something like] You wouldn’t get to do that if you had kids.
Emil: “We ARE the kids!”

Our nephew and great neice made their local paper

Maegan’s husband, Larame, just returned from the war. His photo was in their local paper, the Pensacola News Journal.

Easter 2007

Happy St. Patrick’s Day

We took a well-deserved break to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with our Aggie Bar Crawl friends. After dinner at Fitzwilly’s, we met up with the group at Mad Hatter’s. We bar hopped a little, but mostly just talked and laughed and laughed and laughed.
